EDUCATIONAL BURSARIES 2023/24

Applications are now invited for bursaries for the 2023/24 academic year.

 Details of the policy on bursaries and an application form are available from the Development Trust’s page on the Doresonlochness website.  

When completed, application forms together with evidence of matriculation / enrolment on an appropriate course should be returned to me by 16 October, either by email to [email protected] or by post to Balachladaich, Dores, Inverness, IV2 6XP. 

** Please remember that we also offer Sporting Bursaries for anyone competing at National Level or International Level**

The Dores Community Development Trust has been set up to manage any monies received by the community by outside agencies, such as Rock Ness or the community benefit from larger projects in the area. We currently hold approximately £150k.

Anyone living in the Parish for 3 years or more can be a member, and as a member, you can apply for funding for projects which would benefit the community.  

The DCDT are also recruiting for Directors for 2023. Being a Director simply means attending a handful of meetings each year, where applications for funding are discussed and agreed. Directors may only remain on the Trust for 4 years concurrently.
